You have ID3 tags in the file - either ID3v1 or v2 (or both)... One of these causes that error. Use something like MP3Tag to remove them.
If you try a few files first, you can leave either v1 or v2 intact so if you ever want to re-name the 0001.wav cart files back to artist - title, you can
